You see the total before you confirm a ride, and you pay through our provider’s secure checkout. This page explains each part of the fare.
Read live from our pricing system. Every ride is charged the greater of the minimum fare or base + distance + time.
A fixed amount to start the trip. It depends on the car type you choose.
A per-mile rate for the route actually driven.
A per-minute rate for the time the trip takes.
Short trips are charged a minimum, so a very short ride never falls below it.
Bridges and tunnels are passed through at cost and itemised on your receipt. Routes without a toll carry no toll charge.
If your driver is kept waiting at pickup, waiting time can be charged per minute up to a capped maximum. Any waiting charge appears as its own line on your receipt.
Cancel before a driver has accepted and you pay nothing. After that a flat late-cancellation fee may apply — the exact amount is shown above and in our Legal Center.
Anything added during the ride — an extra stop, an agreed charge — appears as its own line, never folded into the fare.
Pay for your ride in the app, through our payment provider's secure checkout — card, Apple Pay or PayPal. Rofaz never sees or stores your card number, and the amount you are charged is the amount itemized on your receipt.
Your fare is settled against the payment method on your account, so the ride simply ends — nothing to add up in the back seat. Every charge is itemized on the receipt in your ride history.
Your ride is charged through our payment processor, so the line on your statement may show their name rather than ours. If you do not recognize a charge, email support@rofaz.co with the date and pickup address and we will identify it.
If we got something wrong, we fix it. Refund and cancellation terms are set out in full in our Legal Center.
